Planning photos for front cover and double page spread

For my front cover photo and double page spread photos I am using my friend Jamie Power. I have chosen to use a male because there are more male artist within the house genre than women.

I am going to set up a plain white back drop and use studio lighting for my light. I need to take into consideration the types of shots I will use for example for my front cover image I want a mid shot of Jamie so you can see his outfit. This is a common shot for front covers as it doesn't look to close or too far away; it looks professional.

The photos for the double page spread can be more adventourus however you want the picture to take over alot of both the pages. The different shots I could use are;

- Long shot
- Mid shot
- Close up
and more.

I am going to explore shot types and composition to create the best outcome for my genre and to make sure my double page spread doesnt look over crowded and unprofessional.
